I'm not here to protest the success of hard-working people, nor to suggest that there's anything inherently evil about financial prosperity. I applaud responsible decision-making, innovation, creativity and hard work leading to success. Consumerism? Unethical business practices? I think those are our responsibility... if you don't want to support a business, don't buy their product. Don't be a mindless consumer. I will protest/endorse with my spending (not camping out). But when government allows financial institutions and big industry to manipulate markets, oppress people and to ravage the planet in pursuit of profit, when business using sustainable ethical practices can't compete, when institutions that I'm forced to deal with are corrupt and not held accountable? That I protest!
